The guayusa tea leaf is native to the Amazon rainforest and harvested mostly in Ecuador. While Guayusa has been used by indigenous people for centuries, the leaf has recently gained popularity in the states because when brewed, it provides all-natural caffeine equivalent to about one cup of coffee.
